Lance E. Ryskamp
A lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, Attorney Ryskamp grew up in the Town of Highland, graduating from Highland High School in 1979. He attended Valparaiso University, where he graduated in 1983 with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Business. He went on to attend Valparaiso University School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 1986. Attorney Ryskamp had previously been in private practice for four years, before opening his present office in the fall of 2003.
Attorney Ryskamp has had a long record of public and community service. He is a past member of the Highland Town Council and the Lake County Council, where he served until 1998. From 1999 until January 2003, Attorney Ryskamp served as the Assistant Director of the Lake County Board of Elections and Registration. In addition, he has served as a past member of the Highland Plan Commission, as well as the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Winfield.
Currently, Attorney Ryskamp is a member of the Indiana and Lake County Bar Associations, as well as the Indiana Municipal Lawyer’s Association. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Highland Chamber of Commerce. Attorney Ryskamp’s current clients include the Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Redevelopment Commission and Redevelopment Authority of the Town of Dyer.
