Governmental Practice/Lobbying During Attorney Ryskamp’s career, he has served in numerous elected and appointed positions in municipal and county government. In his law practice, he has experience in representing clients before local and state administrative agencies and, as a registered lobbyist in the State of Indiana, Attorney Ryskamp has lobbied before the Indiana General Assembly. He also has experience representing municipalities and his clients currently include four boards and commissions in the Town of Dyer. Attorney Ryskamp’s practice offers a wide range of services in this area to serve both private clients and local governmental units. These services include lobbying on behalf of clients at the state level and assisting in the formation of Political Action Committees (PACs). He can track the progress of proposed legislation and administrative rules, draft language for legislative changes and contact legislators and state agencies on behalf of clients. Attorney Ryskamp wants to help to ensure that Northwest Indiana’s voice is heard downstate on behalf of both private and public clients alike.
